Series Features
ORD312 Series Reed Switch
Series DescriptionThe ORD312 Series is a high-power, long-life reed switch engineered for precision switching in demanding environments. With a glass body length of 12.0 mm and diameter of 2.0 mm, this SPST-NO (Form A) switch supports switching voltages up to 200 VDC, currents up to 0.5 A, and a rated power of 30 VA.
Featuring iridium contacts for enhanced durability, the ORD312 offers ultra-low contact resistance (<100 mΩ) and can reliably switch signals as low as 10 nanovolts and 1 femtoamp without loss. Its hermetically sealed design ensures consistent performance in harsh conditions, including exposure to salt spray, humidity, chemicals, and dust.
- Iridium contact material for extended switch life and high reliability
- Can switch ultra-low signals without degradation—ideal for sensitive electronics
- Hermetically sealed in inert gas for protection against environmental contaminants
- Shock and vibration resistant, suitable for rugged industrial use
- Consumes no power in the open state, supporting energy-efficient designs
- High insulation resistance and low electrostatic capacitance (<0.3 pF)
