The Littelfuse SSAC TAC4215 is a solid-state bypass timer module for 24 V AC, with a 0.5 A solid-state output (10 A inrush). Its delay is fixed at 5 seconds, set at the factory.
A bypass timer for compressor start: with input voltage applied, closing the controller contact energizes the compressor relay and starts the delay, and during the delay the normally closed solid-state output bypasses the low-pressure switch so the compressor can build pressure. At the end of the delay the output opens and stays open until reset. Removing input voltage or opening the controller contact resets it.
Output: 1B SPST-NC. Voltage drop about 2.5 V at full load. Repeat accuracy: ±2%. Setting accuracy: Factory calibration ±20%; ±10% over temperature and voltage. Reset time: 150 ms. Supply tolerance: ±20% of nominal; 50/60 Hz.
It is surface mounted and has 0.250 in (6.3 mm) male quick-connect terminals. It operates from -40 to +75 °C and stores from -40 to +85 °C.
