The Littelfuse SSAC FSU1003 is a solid-state flasher for 24-240 V AC, with a 6 A output (60 A inrush). Its flash rate is adjustable from 10 to 100 flashes per minute with its onboard knob. It flashes incandescent, resistive and inductive loads.
Input voltage on terminal 2 lights the load steadily; input voltage on terminal 3 flashes it. With a low-current switch (a limit switch or contact) between them, the lamp burns steadily while the switch is open and flashes to attract attention when it closes. Units rated above 6 A must be bolted to a metal surface with the supplied heat-sink compound (90 °C maximum surface).
Sequence: ON first, ≈ 50% on. Connection: terminal 2 steady burn, terminal 3 flash; optional initiate switch.
It is surface mounted with one #10 (M5) screw and has 0.250 in (6.3 mm) male quick-connect terminals. Dimensions: 2" H x 2" W x 1.51" D (50.8 x 50.8 x 38.4 mm). It operates from -20 to +60 °C and stores from -40 to +85 °C.
