The Littelfuse SSAC FS590 is an adjustable flasher for 120 V AC/DC, with a DPDT relay output rated 10 A resistive at 120/240 V AC and 28 V DC. Its flash rate is adjustable from 10 to 100 flashes per minute with its onboard knob, held by a locknut.
Upon application of input voltage the output relay energizes and the ON time begins; at the end of it the relay de-energizes for the OFF time, and the cycle repeats as long as input voltage is applied. Removing input voltage resets the output and the sequence. DC units are reverse-polarity protected.
Sequence: ON first, ≈ 50% on. Supply tolerance: -20% / +10% of nominal; 50/60 Hz.
It plugs into an octal 8-pin socket. Dimensions: 3.62" H x 2.39" W x 1.78" D (91.6 x 60.7 x 45.2 mm). It operates from -20 to +60 °C and stores from -30 to +85 °C.
