The Littelfuse SSAC FS491-45 is a solid-state flasher for 120-240 V AC, with a 0.5 A bridge rectifier and FET output (5 A inrush). It flashes at a fixed 45 flashes per minute (±20%), a custom rate set at the factory. It flashes LED and resistive loads.
Upon application of input voltage the output energizes and the ON time begins; at the end of it the output de-energizes for the OFF time, and the cycle repeats as long as input voltage is applied. Removing input voltage resets the output and the sequence. Low-leakage output for flashing LED lamps.
Sequence: ON first, ≈ 50% on. Supply tolerance: ±15%; 50/60 Hz. Off-state leakage: 250 µA. Voltage drop: 2 V. Surge: IEEE C62.41-1991 Level A. Other fixed rates: 45 to 150 FPM ±20%, to order.
It is surface mounted with one #8 (M4) screw and has wire leads. Dimensions: 0.94" dia. x 1.5" D (23.9 x 38.1 mm). It operates from -20 to +60 °C and stores from -40 to +85 °C.
