The Littelfuse SSAC FB9L is a universal LED beacon lamp alarm relay for 120-230 V AC LED beacon systems.
Senses failed flashing LED beacon lamps (one to eight beacons on one flasher) and flasher failure. After a 10 s lamp-failure delay its alarm relays energize for a site monitoring system; if the flasher sticks on or off for 6 s the solid-state output energizes, for example to switch to a spare flasher. Self calibrating.
Lamps monitored: One to eight LED beacons on a single flasher, switch selectable; 150 mA - 8 A total. Alarm outputs: Isolated SPDT relay 10 A at 240 V AC / 30 V DC; NO line-voltage relay 5 A; 0.5 A solid-state flasher-failure output. Lamp failure delay: 10 s fixed (-0 / +40%). Flasher failure delay: 6 s fixed (-0 / +40%). Calibration: Self calibrating at installation; recalibrate after lamp changes and every 12 months. Indicators: Bi-colour LED (ready, trip delay, lamp failure, calibrating); red flasher-failure LED. Supply tolerance: ±15%; 50/60 Hz. Approvals: CE; meets FAA AC 150/5345-43E.
Mounting: Surface Mount - one #10 (M5) screw; IP20 screw terminals, up to 14 AWG. Dimensions: 3" x 2" x 1.64" (76.7 x 51.3 x 41.7 mm). It operates from -40 to +60 °C and stores from -40 to +85 °C.
