The Littelfuse SSAC FB230A is a beacon lamp and flasher alarm relay for 230 V AC incandescent beacon systems.
Monitors one two-lamp incandescent beacon and its beacon flasher (or auxiliary module) by sensing the current in the circuit. If a lamp or the flasher fails, an isolated SPDT relay and two solid-state outputs energize, so a site monitoring system can report the beacon failure remotely.
Lamps monitored: One two-lamp beacon (500 W or 700 W lamps) and its flasher. Alarm outputs: Isolated SPDT relay, 5 A resistive; two solid-state line-voltage outputs, 0.5 A steady / 5 A inrush. Lamp failure delay: 10 s fixed (-0 / +40%). Flasher failure delay: 6 s fixed (-0 / +40%). Indicators: Red LEDs for lamp failure and flasher failure. Supply tolerance: ±15%; 50/60 Hz.
Mounting: Surface Mount - two #6 (M3.5) screws; 7-position barrier block, 20-14 AWG. Dimensions: 3.5" H x 2.5" W x 1.75" D (88.9 x 63.5 x 44.5 mm). It operates from -55 to +60 °C and stores from -55 to +85 °C.
