The Littelfuse SSAC TCSG24A is a self-powered AC current switch with a built-in toroid and a normally open 1 A solid-state output, for a 3-50 V DC output supply. Its actuate point is fixed at 24 A at the factory.
Output closes when the current reaches the actuate point and opens when it falls to about 95% of it; sinks or sources current straight into a PLC digital input, or drives relays, lamps, valves and small heaters.
Sensor: Built-in toroidal sensor (through-hole wiring, up to #4 AWG THHN); 50 A-turns steady, 300 A-turns inrush for 10 s. Response: 200 ms overcurrent, 1 s undercurrent response. Output: 1 A steady, 10 A inrush, solid state. Hysteresis: Resets at ≈95% of the actuate current. Accuracy: +0 / -20%; ±5% over temperature and voltage. Power: Self-powered (burden under 0.5 VA).
It is surface mounted with one #10 screw and has 0.250 in (6.3 mm) male quick-connect terminals. The monitored conductor must be insulated. Dimensions: 50.8 x 50.8 x 44.5 mm (2 x 2 x 1.75 in), H x W x D. It operates from -20 to +60 °C and stores from -40 to +85 °C.
