The Littelfuse SSAC PHS120A10 is a 10 A solid-state phase-angle power control for 120 V AC loads. It is used for lamp dimming, fan / motor speed control, heater temperature control. The effective output voltage is set with an external potentiometer rated for line voltage: 100 kΩ 1 W (P1004-174); output voltage falls as resistance rises.
Rating: 10 A steady state at 100% on. Inrush: 100 A (non-repetitive, 16 ms). Minimum load: 100 mA. Voltage drop: ≈2 V at rated current. Output device: Triac. Supply tolerance: ±20% of nominal; 50/60 Hz.
Mounting: surface mount, one #10 (M5) screw; must be bolted to a metal surface with the included heat sink compound (mounting surface 90 °C max). Terminals: 0.250 in (6.3 mm) male quick connects. Dimensions: 50.8 x 50.8 x 38.4 mm (2 x 2 x 1.51 in), H x W x D. It operates from -20 to +60 °C and stores from -40 to +85 °C. Approvals: UL Recognized, UL 508.
