The OptiFuse R2920-100-60-R is a 1.1 A hold 2920 surface-mount resettable PTC fuse, rated 60 VDC maximum.
A PTC fuse carries its hold current indefinitely; on an overcurrent it heats, its resistance rises sharply and it limits the current to a trickle, then resets on its own once the fault is removed and power is cycled. This one always trips at 2.2 A, in max. 0.5 s at 8.0 A.
It withstands a fault current of up to 100 A at rated voltage. Resistance: minimum 0.090 Ω, 0.410 Ω maximum one hour after tripping. Tripped, it dissipates typically 1.5 W. It operates from -40 to +85 °C.
Construction: outline 7.98 x 5.44 x 1.70 mm (max.); pure tin terminations.
