The OptiFuse R1210LR-175-R is a 1.75 A hold 1210 surface-mount resettable PTC fuse, rated 6 VDC maximum.
A PTC fuse carries its hold current indefinitely; on an overcurrent it heats, its resistance rises sharply and it limits the current to a trickle, then resets on its own once the fault is removed and power is cycled. This one always trips at 3.5 A, in max. 2.50 s at 8.00 A.
It withstands a fault current of up to 100 A at rated voltage. Resistance: minimum 0.006 Ω, 0.040 Ω maximum one hour after tripping. Tripped, it dissipates typically 1.00 W. It operates from -40 to +85 °C.
Construction: outline 3.43 x 2.80 x 0.75 mm (max.); pure tin terminations.
