The OptiFuse ACBP-H-8A is an 8 A 10-32 stud (Shortstop style) automotive circuit breaker with automatic reset (SAE J553 Type I), rated 12/24/32 VDC.
It mounts by a horizontal bracket (ears across the studs); its terminals are #10-32 studs (battery copper plated, auxiliary zinc plated).
Its body is gray thermoplastic (UL94V-0).
It interrupts 4 x rated current. Trip times at 25 °C, as a share of the rating: 100%: hold, no trip; 150%: trips in 1 h; 200%: 4.0-40.0 s; 300%: 1.2-12.0 s; 400%: 0.6-5.0 s; 500%: 0.4-2.8 s; 600%: 0.3-1.8 s. It operates from -10 to +60 °C.
It is ignition protected to SAE J1171, for use in engine and fuel compartments and sealed to IP63.
Tested to SAE J553.
