The OptiFuse TXG-6A is a 6 A time-delay (slow-blow) subminiature axial fuse with a 2.7 x 7.3 mm epoxy-coated body, rated 250 VAC, supplied taped in an ammo pack.
A time-delay element rides through the brief inrush of motors, transformers and capacitive power supplies, yet still opens on a sustained overload. Its leads come out of each end for through-hole mounting or automatic insertion; each lead is 28 mm (1.10 in) long.
Breaking capacity: 30 A @ 250 VAC. Opening times, as a percentage of the rated current: 100%: min. 4 h; 200%: 1 s to 60 s; 300%: 200 ms to 3 s; 400%: 20 ms to 100 ms. Typical melting I²t 94.40 A²s.
