The OptiFuse TXF-2.25A is a 2.25 A time-delay (slow-blow) subminiature axial fuse with a 4 x 12 mm epoxy-coated body, rated 350 VAC, supplied taped in an ammo pack.
A time-delay element rides through the brief inrush of motors, transformers and capacitive power supplies, yet still opens on a sustained overload. Its leads come out of each end for through-hole mounting or automatic insertion; each lead is 30 mm (1.18 in) long.
Breaking capacity: 50 A @ 350 VAC. Opening times, as a percentage of the rated current: 100%: min. 4 h; 200%: 1 s to 60 s. Typical melting I²t 17.46 A²s.
