The OptiFuse TSF-8A is an 8 A time-delay (slow-blow) glass cartridge fuse in the 3.6 x 10 mm size, rated 250 VAC.
A time-delay element rides through the brief inrush of motors, transformers and capacitive power supplies, yet still opens on a sustained overload. It fits standard fuse clips and holders of the same size.
Breaking capacity: 50 A @ 125 VAC; 50 A @ 250 VAC. Opening times, as a percentage of the rated current: 100%: min. 4 Hr; 200%: 1-60 s. Typical melting I²t 56.69 A²s. It operates from -55 to +125 °C.
Construction: glass body.
It is cULus Listed (UL file E197390). Standards: UL 248-14, CSA C22.2 No. 248.14.
