The OptiFuse TSE-P-8A is an 8 A time-delay (slow-blow) glass fuse in the 5 x 15 mm size, with axial leads (pigtails), rated 250 VAC.
A time-delay element rides through the brief inrush of motors, transformers and capacitive power supplies, yet still opens on a sustained overload. The axial leads solder straight to a board or terminal strip, with no holder.
Breaking capacity: 100 A @ 125 VAC/250 VAC; 500 A @ 125 VAC (PSE); 100 A @ 250 VAC (PSE). Opening times, as a percentage of the rated current: 100%: min. 4 h; 135%: max. 1 h; 200%: max. 120 s. Typical melting I²t 147.9 A²s. It operates from -55 to +125 °C.
