The OptiFuse TPK-700MA is a 700 mA time-delay (slow-blow) midget fuse, rated 500 VAC.
A midget fuse is a 13/32 in diameter supplementary fuse (most are 1-1/2 in long), for protecting equipment and control circuits behind branch-circuit protection rather than as branch protection itself. A time-delay element rides through the brief inrush of motors, transformers and capacitive power supplies, yet still opens on a sustained overload.
Interrupting rating: 10 kA @ 500 VAC. Opening times, as a percentage of the rated current: 100%: max. 1 h; 200%: 5 s to 120 s.
Construction: 13/32 x 1-1/2 in (10.3 x 38.1 mm); ferrule terminals.
It is cULus Listed (UL file E197390). Standards: UL 248-14, CSA C22.2 No. 248.14.
