The OptiFuse RS60RB-160 is a 1.6 A hold radial-lead resettable PTC fuse, rated 60 VDC maximum.
A PTC fuse carries its hold current indefinitely; on an overcurrent it heats, its resistance rises sharply and it limits the current to a trickle, then resets on its own once the fault is removed and power is cycled. This one always trips at 3.2 A, in max. 11.4 s at 5 x IH.
It withstands a fault current of up to 40 A at rated voltage. Resistance: minimum 0.09 Ω, 0.22 Ω maximum one hour after tripping. Tripped, it dissipates typically 1.90 W. It operates from -40 to +85 °C.
Construction: outline 16.3 W x 21.3 H x 3.1 T mm (max.); lead spacing 5.1 mm; leads 20 AWG (0.81 mm); tin plated copper.
