The OptiFuse RS16HT-750 is a 7.5 A hold radial-lead resettable PTC fuse, rated 16 VDC maximum.
A PTC fuse carries its hold current indefinitely; on an overcurrent it heats, its resistance rises sharply and it limits the current to a trickle, then resets on its own once the fault is removed and power is cycled. This one always trips at 13.1 A, in max. 7.0 s at 5 x IH.
It withstands a fault current of up to 100 A at rated voltage. Resistance: minimum 0.0094 Ω, 0.0220 Ω maximum one hour after tripping. Tripped, it dissipates typically 4.5 W. It operates from -40 to +125 °C.
Construction: outline 14.0 W x 23.5 H x 3.0 T mm (max.); lead spacing 5.1 mm; leads 20 AWG (0.81 mm); tin plated copper.
