The OptiFuse RS120-110 is a 1.1 A hold radial-lead resettable PTC fuse, rated 120 VAC/DC maximum.
A PTC fuse carries its hold current indefinitely; on an overcurrent it heats, its resistance rises sharply and it limits the current to a trickle, then resets on its own once the fault is removed and power is cycled. This one always trips at 2.2 A, in max. 8.2 s at 5 x IH.
It withstands a fault current of up to 8 A at rated voltage and interrupts up to 135 V. Resistance: minimum 0.15 Ω, 0.38 Ω maximum one hour after tripping. Tripped, it dissipates typically 2.28 W. It operates from -40 to +85 °C.
Construction: outline 13.3 W x 18.3 H x 4.1 T mm (max.); lead spacing 5.1 mm; leads 20 AWG (0.81 mm); tin plated copper.
