The OptiFuse R1812-035 is a 350 mA hold 1812 surface-mount resettable PTC fuse, rated 16 VDC maximum.
A PTC fuse carries its hold current indefinitely; on an overcurrent it heats, its resistance rises sharply and it limits the current to a trickle, then resets on its own once the fault is removed and power is cycled. This one always trips at 700 mA, in max. 0.100 s at 8.0 A.
It withstands a fault current of up to 100 A at rated voltage. Resistance: minimum 0.320 Ω, 1.500 Ω maximum one hour after tripping. Tripped, it dissipates typically 0.8 W. It operates from -40 to +85 °C.
Construction: outline 4.73 x 3.41 x 0.70 mm (max.); wrap-around end terminals; pure tin terminations.
