The OptiFuse FXG-4A is a 4 A fast-acting subminiature axial fuse with a 2.7 x 7.3 mm epoxy-coated body, rated 250 VAC / 125 VDC, supplied taped in an ammo pack.
A fast-acting fuse opens quickly on an overload, for resistive and lightly loaded circuits with little switch-on surge. Its leads come out of each end for through-hole mounting or automatic insertion; each lead is 28 mm (1.10 in) long.
Breaking capacity: 30 A @ 250 VAC; 30 A @ 125 VAC; 100 A @ 125 VAC (PSE); 50 A @ 125 VDC (CCC); 50 A @ 125 VDC. Opening times, as a percentage of the rated current: 100%: min. 4 h; 200%: max. 20 s. Typical melting I²t 3.666 A²s. It operates from -55 to +125 °C.
