The OptiFuse FSC-8A is an 8 A fast-acting glass cartridge fuse in the 5 x 20 mm size, rated 250 VAC.
A fast-acting fuse opens quickly on an overload, for resistive and lightly loaded circuits with little switch-on surge. It fits standard fuse clips and holders of the same size.
Breaking capacity: 10kA @ 125 VAC; 200 A @ 250 VAC; 100 A @ 125 VAC PSE; 100 A @ 250 VAC PSE. Typical cold resistance 0.0105 Ω, melting I²t 100 A²s. It operates from -55 to +125 °C.
Construction: glass body.
It is cULus Listed (UL file E197390). Standards: UL 248-14, CSA C22.2 No. 248.14.
