The OptiFuse FPK-15A is a 15 A fast-acting midget fuse, rated 600 VAC / 600 VDC.
A midget fuse is a 13/32 in diameter supplementary fuse (most are 1-1/2 in long), for protecting equipment and control circuits behind branch-circuit protection rather than as branch protection itself. A fast-acting fuse opens quickly on an overload, for resistive and lightly loaded circuits with little switch-on surge.
Interrupting rating: 100 kA @ 600 VAC; 10 kA @ 600 VDC. Opening times, as a percentage of the rated current: 135%: max. 1 h; 200%: max. 120 s.
Construction: 13/32 x 1-1/2 in (10.3 x 38.1 mm); ferrule terminals.
It is cULus Listed (UL file E197390). Standards: UL 248-14, CSA C22.2 No. 248.14.
