The OptiFuse FCD-P-250MA is a 250 mA fast-acting ceramic fuse in the 5 x 20 mm size, with axial leads (pigtails), rated 250 VAC/DC.
A fast-acting fuse opens quickly on an overload, for resistive and lightly loaded circuits with little switch-on surge. The axial leads solder straight to a board or terminal strip, with no holder.
Breaking capacity: 10kA; 1500 A @ 250 VAC; 1000 A @ 250 VDC. Opening times, as a percentage of the rated current: 210%: max. 30 min; 275%: 10ms to 2 s; 400%: 3ms to 300ms; 1000%: max. 20ms. Typical cold resistance 4.5700 Ω, melting I²t 0.0071 A²s. It operates from -55 to +125 °C.
