The OptiFuse FCD-400MA is a 400 mA fast-acting ceramic cartridge fuse in the 5 x 20 mm size, rated 250 VAC/DC.
A fast-acting fuse opens quickly on an overload, for resistive and lightly loaded circuits with little switch-on surge. It fits standard fuse clips and holders of the same size.
Breaking capacity: 10kA; 1500 A @ 250 VAC; 1000 A @ 250 VDC. Opening times, as a percentage of the rated current: 210%: max. 30 min; 275%: 10ms to 2 s; 400%: 3ms to 300ms; 1000%: max. 20ms. Typical cold resistance 2.0600 Ω, melting I²t 0.0200 A²s. It operates from -55 to +125 °C.
Construction: ceramic body.
