The OptiFuse FCA-1A is a 1 A fast-acting ceramic cartridge fuse in the 6.3 x 32 mm (1/4 x 1-1/4 in) size, rated 300 VAC.
A fast-acting fuse opens quickly on an overload, for resistive and lightly loaded circuits with little switch-on surge. It fits standard fuse clips and holders of the same size.
Breaking capacity: 10kA @ 125 VAC; 35 A @ 250 VAC; 1000 A @ 300 VAC; 500 A @ 125 VAC (PSE); 100 A @ 250 VAC (PSE); 100 A @ 250 VAC (KC). Opening times, as a percentage of the rated current: 100%: min. 4 h; 135%: max. 1 h; 200%: max. 120 s. It operates from -55 to +125 °C.
Construction: ceramic body.
It is cULus Listed (UL file E197390). Standards: UL 248-14, CSA C22.2 No. 248.14.
