The OptiFuse F0603-5A is a 5 A fast-acting 0603 surface-mount chip fuse, rated 32 VAC / 32 VDC.
A fast-acting fuse opens quickly on an overload, for resistive and lightly loaded circuits with little switch-on surge. It is a 0603 (1608 metric) package for reflow soldering, supplied on tape & reel, 5,000 per reel.
Breaking capacity: 35 A @ 32 VAC; 35 A @ 32 VDC. Opening times, as a percentage of the rated current: 100%: min. 4 h; 350%: max. 1 s. Typical cold resistance 0.0105 Ω, melting I²t 1.100 A²s. It operates from -55 to +90 °C.
