Model 4480-T Two-Hand Machine Control Anti-Tiedown Monitor |
Series Description: Nolatrons Model 4480 Switch Monitor provides two-hand control for presses, welders, molders, and various production machines. The 4480 also helps to comply with OSHA, which requires an operator to have both hands on start switches in order to begin a machine cycle. This minimizes the possibility of an operator having a hand in the work area when a machine cycle is started. If one or both switches are tied-down, the control will not allow a new machine cycle to begin. |
Series Operation: As each start switch is closed, it will be delayed for .075 seconds* before an internal relay is energized. If both start switches are closed within a time of .5 seconds, the output contact will close and the load will energize. The output contact will remain closed for .5 seconds or until one or both start switches are opened. Both switches must be released before another cycle is initiated. |
