Series Description: MINMAX's MTQZ50 series is a new generation of high-performance 50-watt DC-DC converters designed with the international standard quarter brick size, specifically for railway applications. The MTQZ50 series offers two widely adopted input voltage ranges in railway applications: 72 (43-101) VDC and 110 (66-160) VDC, with a total of 8 models providing precise output voltages of 5/12/15/24. All models comply with the railway certification standard EN 50155 and also meet the railway EMC standard EN 50121-3-2. The MTQZ50 series features an advanced circuit topology to provide up to 92% overall efficiency and can meet 100% of the system's power requirements immediately upon startup. Other product features include I/O high isolation withstand voltage of 3000VAC, reinforced insulation systems, remote on/off control, output voltage trim, and output voltage sense. The abnormal protection mechanisms include low voltage, output overcurrent, output overvoltage, over-temperature, and output short circuit protection. These features ensure immediate protection for the power converter itself and railway system equipment in case of operational abnormalities. The MTQZ50 series supports an operating temperature range of -40? to +85?. To achieve higher thermal performance, we also offer an optional heatsink. In terms of the heat dissipation design, we use high thermal conductivity metal casing, along with high thermal conductivity potting gel, and optimized heat dissipation PCB layout in the heat management structure design to ensure stable thermal performance and reliability during the long-term operation of the MTQZ50. To withstand the harsh conditions of the railway environment, the MTQZ50 series has also passed vibration and shock/bump reliability testing standards EN 61373, cooling, dry , and damp heat reliability testing standards IEC/EN 60068-2-1, 2, 30, as well as fire protection testing EN 45545-2. The series aims to provide customers with a long-term and reliable railway application solution.
