The Metz Connect AST1280704 is a 7-position spring-clamp PCB terminal block on a 7.62 mm (0.300") pitch, with vertical (0°) wire entry. It is UL rated 15 A at 600 V for 28-12 AWG wire, and IEC rated 15 A at 400 V (OVC III, PD 2) for 0.2-2.5 mm² wire.
The housing is gray polyamide PA66, rated UL 94 V-0, insulation group CTI 600, IP20 protection. Wires are held by a spring-steel clamp opened with a finger push-button. Strip wires 15 mm. Contacts are tin bronze (CuSn), tin plated. Solder pins are 3.4 mm long, for wave soldering per JEDEC JESD22-B102E (245°C / 5 s). It operates from -40°C to 105°C.
