The Metz Connect AST0550402 is a 4-position spring-clamp PCB terminal block on a 5.00 mm (0.197") pitch, with horizontal (90°) wire entry. It is UL rated 12 A at 300 V for 28-12 AWG wire, and IEC rated 20 A at 400 V (OVC III, PD 2) for 0.08-2.5 mm² wire.
The housing is black polyamide PA, rated UL 94 V-0, insulation group CTI 600, IP20 protection. Wires are held by a spring-steel clamp opened with an eccentric lever. Strip wires 6 mm. Contacts are tin bronze (CuSn), tin plated. Solder pins are 3.1 mm long, for wave soldering per JEDEC JESD22-B102E (245°C / 5 s). It operates from -40°C to 105°C.
