The Metz Connect AST0250904 is a 9-position spring-clamp PCB terminal block on a 5.00 mm (0.197") pitch, with horizontal (90°) wire entry. It is UL rated 13 A at 300 V for 28-14 AWG wire, and IEC rated 12 A at 250 V (OVC III, PD 2) for 0.2-2 mm² wire.
The housing is gray polyamide PA, rated UL 94 V-0, insulation group CTI 600, IP20 protection. Wires are held by a spring-steel clamp opened with an eccentric lever. Strip wires 6 mm. Contacts are tin bronze (CuSn), nickel + tin plated. Solder pins are 5 mm long, for wave soldering per JEDEC JESD22-B102E (245°C / 5 s). It operates from -40°C to 105°C.
