The Macromatic ARF120A8R is an alternating relay with 2C DPDT output and rated 5 A at 120 V AC, 5 A at 24 V DC, driven by a 120V AC input.
It brings two loads on one after the other and drops them together when the OFF switch opens.
It is driven by an OFF, a LEAD and a LAG switch, so the unit also protects against a failure of the OFF or LEAD switch.
It plugs into an 8 Pin Octal socket, which is supplied with the relay.
The selector switch is three-position: ALTERNATE, or lock LOAD 1 or LOAD 2 to energise first.
It has Flange Mount, Socketable mounting and Plug In terminals.
