The Littelfuse SymCom ISS-102CCI-M-MC is a 2-channel intrinsically safe relay: it lets float switches, probes or other contacts in a hazardous location control loads in the safe area. Intrinsically safe circuits for Class I, Div 1 and 2, Groups A, B, C, D; Class II, Groups E, F, G; Class III -- associated apparatus, install in a non-hazardous area. Multi-function: pump-up or pump-down, single- or dual-channel, non-latching, set by DIP switches.
Input open-circuit voltage: 5 V DC pulsed. Entity parameters: Voc 16.8 V; Isc 1.2 mA; La 100 mH; Ca 0.39 µF. Input sensitivity: 4.7...100 kΩ adjustable. Response: 0.5 or 2 s debounce.
Output: 2 x 1C SPDT (one isolated), 5 A at 120 V AC; pilot duty C150 (180 VA at 120 V AC). Supply: 120V AC. Indicators: LEDs show the state of the inputs and the output relays. Mounting: DIN Rail/Panel Mount. Terminals: Finger-safe screw terminals. Dimensions: 88.9 x 52.93 x 59.69 mm (3.5 x 2.08 x 2.35 in), H x W x D. Power: 2 W maximum.
It operates from -20 to +55 °C. Contact life: 100,000 operations at rated load; 10,000,000 mechanical. Approvals: MSHA evaluated (Mine Safety and Health Administration); not UL 913.
