The Littelfuse Startco NGRUS328 is a neutral grounding resistor system for 4160 V line-to-line, 2400 V line-to-neutral systems, limiting ground-fault current to 10 A (continuous rating).
A neutral grounding resistor holds the current of a line-to-ground fault to a safe, known value, so a resistance-grounded system can keep running on the first fault while the monitor finds it.
Supplied as: Neutral Grounding Resistor System (NGR, current transformer and sensing resistor in a NEMA 3R enclosure). Resistance: 240.5 Ω (+/- 10 % resistance). Monitor: SE-330. Current transformer: SE-CS10-2.5. Sensing resistor: ER-5KV.
Enclosure: NEMA 3R, galvanized steel, NEMA 3R. Finish: powder coated. Insulation level: 75 KV BIL. Temperature rise: 385 °C (725 °F). Seismic bracing: included.
