The Littelfuse Startco NGRUS323 is a neutral grounding resistor system for 4160 V line-to-line, 2400 V line-to-neutral systems, limiting ground-fault current to 5 A (10 s rating).
A neutral grounding resistor holds the current of a line-to-ground fault to a safe, known value, so a resistance-grounded system can keep running on the first fault while the monitor finds it.
Supplied as: Neutral Grounding Resistor System (NGR, current transformer and sensing resistor in a NEMA 3R enclosure). Resistance: 480.9 Ω (+/- 10 % resistance). Monitor: SE-330. Current transformer: ELCT5-31. Sensing resistor: ER-5WP.
Enclosure: NEMA 3R, galvanized steel, NEMA 3R; Weather Protected Sensing Resistor. Finish: powder coated. Insulation level: 75 KV BIL. Temperature rise: 760 °C (1400 °F). Seismic bracing: included.
