The Littelfuse Startco AF0025-00 is an arc-flash relay with a 24 V dc supply.
It watches switchgear, motor control centres and panelboards for the light of an arcing fault and trips the upstream breaker within milliseconds, limiting the incident energy an arc flash can release. Detection: light; sensitivity 3 klx, fixed. Sensors: 2 sensor inputs (1 or 2 sensor applications). Sensor inputs: optical sensor inputs for PGA-LS10-01B point sensors. Trip time: <5 ms (typical).
Outputs: trip and error output contacts: Form C, 240 V ac/30 V dc, 6 A resistive; trip output selectable fail-safe or non-fail-safe. Indication: error output (fail-safe) confirms if relay is experiencing an error or is actively providing protection.
Mounting: surface mount (2 - #8 screws), or DIN rail. Size: H 112.25 mm (4.42”); W 127.50 mm (5.01”); D 46.23 mm (1.82”). Operating temperature -40 °C to +70 °C (-40 °F to 158 °F). Conformally coated as standard.
