The Littelfuse 593.500S is a 500 mA time-delay (slow-blow) midget fuse.
A midget fuse is a 13/32 in diameter supplementary fuse (most are 1-1/2 in long), for protecting equipment and control circuits behind branch-circuit protection rather than as branch protection itself. A time-delay element rides through the brief inrush of motors, transformers and capacitive power supplies, yet still opens on a sustained overload.
Construction: ferrule terminals.
