The IDEC NRAS2100-F-30A-MD is a 2-pole 30 A magnetic-hydraulic circuit protector with a lever actuator for a round panel cutout, rated 250V AC, 50/60 Hz and 65V DC. It is a UL 1077 supplementary protector, not for branch circuit protection.
It has IDEC's MD time-delay curve, a slow curve for motor loads that draw inrush for a long time. Inertia delay keeps it from tripping on 20x rated current (peak) for 8 ms, for transformer and lamp inrush. All poles trip together and the levers are mechanically tied. The trip current does not drift with temperature; only the delay does.
Trip times at 25 °C: No trip at 100%; 35-400 s at 125%; 20-200 s at 150%; 7-60 s at 200%; 1.3-8 s at 400%. Interrupting rating: 1,000 A at 250V AC; 1,000 A at 65V DC. Terminals: main: 0.250 in quick-connect tab (NRT screw terminal adapter available). Life: 10,000 operations minimum. It operates from -40 to +85 °C.
