The ATC Diversified ARD-120-AAA is a duplex alternating relay for a 120 V AC supply. Its float or pressure switches bring two loads on one after the other, and it drops them all together when the off switch opens; the lead load alternates every cycle, so the run time evens out.
Inputs: STOP, LEAD and LAG float switches, switched at line voltage. Selector switch: three-position: normal duplexing, or lock the 1-2 or 2-1 sequence. Supply tolerance: -20% / +10% of nominal. Power: <3 VA.
Output: 1C SPDT (two line-voltage outputs, cross-wired), 5 A resistive, 1/6 HP at 120 V AC per output; 10 A, 1/3 HP combined. Mounting: plug-in, on an 8-pin octal base. Indicator: LED shows the output position. Approvals: UL Recognized (E55826). It operates from 0 to +65 °C and stores from -40 to +85 °C.
